What is a 204b USPS?

In the administrative hierarchy, the 204b rule allows a postal worker to temporarily take the role of supervisor as a substitute or relief a postmaster. Section 204b dictates that an employee may act as a supervisor or that an employee may request to act as one for a specific amount of time. When using 204b, they are referencing that specific section of the agreement.
